My personal literature blog is called Qualquer Coisa de Triste, which roughly translates as Somewhat Sad.
.:the worst kind of thief:. is my blog about technology, advertising and discussing great ideas.
O que Tarrask já viu is a blog I created just to save everything I find interesting online. Internet is too big, and we need some tool to keep track of everything, even without a filter.
ffffuuuud.eu is a wordpress collaborative experiment to bookmark and share internet memes.

Tarrask, bio and story of the nickname
Since 2002, I’ve been working in advertising as a copywriter. The dude that mix the words together, but not only that. Some of my work and my curriculum can be found on my online portfolio.
Two books, and couting.
I self-published two books already: Elas and Inverdades, and both of them are in Portuguese and available for sale in Amazon.
Imagining new things and telling them.
Since I was a kid, I always loved reading and creating stories. When I was a teenager, I discovered Role Playing Games and learned how to create worlds, plots, characters and structure to weave new tales. That’s where the nickname Tarrask came from.
One language to rule them all.
I started writing in Portuguese, but learned English and Spanish and sometimes use all of them to express what I want. I’m more interested in the what than in the how you say something.
My first computer ran DOS, I’ve installed Windows 95 using diskettes and connected to mIRC as a teenager. Tarrask was my nickname, and I never thought it should become a professional alias.
Ok, ok, but which social networks I use nowadays?
Twitter. Facebook. LinkedIn. Several blogs. Google Reader, via sharing and commenting. Foursquare. Pinterest. Ffffuuuud.eu, my crazy meme-bookmarking wordpress experience. I also try any other services when I have free time.
When I was a teenager, I got an old Canon EOS Rebel from my mom. After some years, classes at the University and some point-and-shoot digital cameras, I put my hands on a Canon EOS 400D in 2007, and in 2011, I upgraded to a 60D. But I keep taking photos with an iPhone, a Lomo Diana Mini or even a webcam, if it’s all I have at hand.
Look at the pictures, not at the photographer
I save my pictures in Flickr, and my favorite sets are also stored in my portfolio.
From English to Spanish to Portuguese, and the other way. My specialty is the transcreation of ad campaigns, but I also did freelance technical translation and scientific papers, too.
Sometimes a good copy gets lost in translation. Sometimes, not. A good transcreator needs to to know that and propose alternatives, that could convey the same message, without losing the marketing objectives from sight.
Local globalization
We don’t need to be near our customers anymore. The tubes allow companies to sell all over the world. But we always need to speak the customers’ languages. And no other.
Do or do not. There is no try.— Yoda
Inverdades is my second book, released the 29th of February, 2012. It’s available in ebook version, in Portuguese, at Amazon. Contains 17 short stories, and a bunch of funny lies.
My personal stupid meme bookmark. If you want to create an user there, just get in touch.
To make a long story short, this is my first book coming out of the box.
A small selection of my favorite personal photos. You can see them all in Flickr or in my photo portfolio.
