Who Alex Luna thinks he is?
“It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, are a different opinion, it is because they only know their own side of the question.”
John Stuart Mill, Utilitarianism (1863)
Alex Luna, copywriter, advertiser, storyteller
tarrask is known as Alex Luna. He’s an ad creative, storyteller, digital citizen since 95, ad copywriter since 02, amateur photographer, imaginary world creator, traveller, techie, half-cyborg, curious, sci-fi and fantastic realism fan, short-story writer, and he likes to create and destroy websites as a hobby in his private world of tarrask.com
He’s not a common copywriter. Instead of word-games, he prefers testing software, playing with program features or hacking thinks. He had an unusual school formation for a creative: his Master in Advertising was mostly focused on planning, strategy, client presentation, positioning, and all the surrounding work some creatives often don’t like or even despise. He doesn’t like interrupting advertising and doing things exactly by the rules. He likes objectives and trying to reach goals with different approaches.
He was born in Brazil, and worked there before living for 7 years in Madrid and Barcelona, and then moving to the United States.
